In Sickness and in Health: “The Knowledge We Need”[1] Part One

By Dr. Josef Ben Levi

Presented by Omni-U Virtual University

The early 21st century has introduced new pandemics caused by diseases and other factors  that have significantly impacted the health and well-being of millions of the earth's inhabitants. Among these are the “MediSins”, as they are called by Dr. Scott Whitaker and Dr. Jose Fleming CN MH, (2) autnors of  MediSin; The Causes & Solutions to Disease, Malnutrition and the Medical Sins That Are Killing the World. (3). In this article, I rely heavily on the concept of “MediSin,” which was developed by Drs. Whitaker and Fleming, as I examine some of the literature on  the diseases and other maladies that we continue to face.

“MediSin” is a new term which has been coined by the authors to describe the chemical poisons, pollution, and other forms of anti-life  technology that plague humanity. “MediSins” refer to  any “food,” liquid, or substance that alters the state of the body’s natural chemistry. These include, but are not limited to, white refined sugar, sodium laurel sulfate, processed foods, food dyes, benzoate, hydrogenated oils, aspartame [artificial  sweetners, etc.], other chemical by-products, and   frozen foods which contain carcinogens such as acryl amide (plastic), formaldehyde, and aflatoxins (fungi). These chemicals are destroying your liver and draining your life force. (4)

In order to appreciate the direction toward which this article will be moving, it is important to understand the etymology, i.e.,origin, of  words - especially the word, “pharmaceutical” which is derived from the Greek word “pharmakeia”. In Greek, “pharmakeia” means something akin to sorcery- “a type of magic in which spirits- especially evil ones- are used to make things happen.” In the classic sense of the term, a “pharmakon" is a spell-giving potion).

“In medicine, a placebo (Latin, placēbō, 'I shall please', from placeō, 'I please') is a sham substance, drug, or treatment given to a patient believing it helps them. Less well known is the nocēbō, (Latin, 'I shall harm', from, 'I harm')...”(5)

Do these sound like anything related to health or healing?

Any reasonably conscious person is aware of the number of commercials we are bombarded with that promote  potions,i.e., products,to treat our various health problems. These may be pills, salves, or lotions, sprays etc., the effects of which may persuade us that they will relieve our ailment(s). (6) However, they also mention, in pretty fast language, an assortment of the side-effects of these products that may often  include DEATH!

One advantage that the advertising industry has is a psychological  operation  (“psych-op”), i.e., its power to subliminally persuade us that the products that are offered in these cases , will cure the particular thing that is ailing you. This is called “Marketing”! [16]

The profits of the pharmaceutical industry are dependent on  the continuation of diseases. However, “advances in vitamin research, cellular medicine and natural health can eliminate today’s most common diseases. These safe, effective, and affordable natural therapies focus on the prevention and  eradication of diseases-not only the alleviation of symptoms. [1]

Two issues that are often misunderstood in the discussion of health problems and solutions  are Prostate Cancer- as a factor in the death of Black men- and the effect  of plastics, in the foods and water we consume, that not only create problems in our veins, but also  contribute to cardiovascular disease.

These health conditions, as discussed by Dr. Whitaker and Dr. Fleming, will now be briefly addressed.

PSA (Prostate Specific Antigen), Prostate Cancer and Plastics in Your Blood

Before reviewing prostate cancer and PSA, specifically, it is important that we discuss exactly how  cancer is defined by the authors ,including how  we get cancer and what populations are subject to the highest rates of cancer infections, in this case, prostate cancer, and why.

According  to the authors, cancer is, in layman terms,  a mutated stage that is an absolute repercussion from the human body’s unnatural chemical intake (radiation, environmental pollutants, nitrates, etc.), dietary neglect and emotional baggage. Cancer is not some foreign cell that falls out of the sky and enters your body. Cancer can conquer the body in two ways: (1) Through tumor formation where the body’s immune system is only strong enough to capture the cells and encase them which can remain for several years before it begins to spread. (2) The human body becomes so weak that it cannot inhibit the rapid spread of cancer cells due to organ damage, so cancer cells continue to metastasize from one area to another until there is nothing left. (5)

One of the specific causes of cancer development is said to be the over-acidic environment your body maintains from the excessive consumption of acidic foods, drug usage, environmental toxins, and emotional instability.( 6)

Further, according to “MediSins”, cancer is not the culprit behind the death that it causes. Instead, it is a self-infliction of dietary neglect, environmental toxins, and emotional baggage. The Standard American Diet, SAD, that is consumed is among the underlying outcomes of cancer. Most of the “food” items that you put in your grocery cart are either dead, acidic, or toxic. The by-products that you call “food” are also preserved, irradiated, synthetically enriched and sodium bombarded. [4]

As per “MediSins”, in America most people have no dietary principles. We allow ourselves and our children to indulge in cancer-causing meals like nitrate- preserved  hotdogs and luncheon meats served with constipating white bread. One meal after another increases the risk of cancer while the other “ foods” clog your colon.  No matter how sophisticated and intelligent the medical profession may appear to be, if they have not come to the realization that dietary neglect is one of  the underlying causes of cancer then they need to choose another profession, period! [4]

The Prostate Gland

The prostate gland,  a walnut-shaped organ, is part of men’s reproductive organs, providing some seminal fluid. Living below the bladder, it surrounds the urethra through which urine drains and the seminal tube through which semen flows. [12]

As with other cancers, it begins when cells mutate, grow out of control, and eventually damage and steal nutrients from the surrounding healthy cells, according to the ACS (American Cancer Society.)

While the medical and pharmaceutical industry have argued that specific causes of prostate cancer have not been identified, the authors of “MediSins:..”have clearly stated that fundamental to all of our illnesses are the chemical poisons, pollutions, and other forms of anti-life  technology that plagues humanity. MediSin is any food, liquid, or substance that alters the state of the body’s natural chemistry.

There are risk factors that include:

  • Age: The most common risk factor. The older you are, the more likely you are to develop prostate cancer.

  • Race: Black men are more likely to get prostate cancer, get it at a younger age, have advanced disease before it is diagnosed, and are twice as likely to die from prostate cancer.

  • Weight: Being overweight can increase your risk

  • Genetics: Having a close family member who’s been diagnosed with prostate cancer raises your risk.

Black men are particularly susceptible to prostate cancer. Part of the reason  that Black men die at higher rates from prostate cancer. is due to diet, environmental factors, emotional distress, and “medical  mistrust” ,i.e. the idea that Black men, and Black people in general, do not have a high level of confidence in the medical profession. This mat be due to the long history in this country of medical experimentation on Black bodies that are supported by the consequences of MediSins.  Prostate cancer is not an equal opportunity disease. [11]

Black men in the United States have substantially higher prostate cancer incidence and mortality rates than the general population. They are also more likely to be diagnosed with an aggressive form of the disease—which is typically treated with surgery and radiation therapy. Yet, Black men are less likely than white patients to seek treatment, and when they do, their doctors are more likely to recommend a watch-and-wait approach over surgery or radiation therapy, according to recent research. [21]

There are two ways of screening for prostate cancer: (1) Digital rectal exam (DRE) is performed by the physician to determine if there are changes in the prostate. The DRE is done to determine if the cancer has spread outside the prostate by checking for “nodules” or lumps on the prostate. [2] a prostate-specific antigen (PSA) blood test looks for elevated levels of PSA, which can indicate prostate cancer. However, many other things can affect the PSA level. PSA is a protein produced by normal, as well as malignant, cells of the prostate gland. The PSA test measures the level of PSA in a man’s blood.

However, the authors suggest that occasionally the PSA test is not an adequate basis for determining treatment. Sometimes the best treatment for prostate cancer is no treatment at all. The reality is that a number of factors need to be considered before treatment options are selected, and treatment itself may cause complications, such as urinary incontinence or impotence.

An elevated PSA test does not automatically mean that cancer is present. Like the digital rectal exam (DRE), a PSA test can erroneously indicate prostate cancer and fail to detect it. So, while the screening may lead to earlier diagnosis, it can also lead to treatment of cancers that don’t need to be treated, because of very slow growth. And despite more than 10 years ‘experience with PSA screening, there have been few controlled studies on whether PSA testing reduces the prostate cancer death rate.

Nonetheless, to preserve good prostate health, a diet rich in Zinc & Selenium, fruits, and vegetables, staying away from white sugar and flour and processed meats will have a positive impact on prostate health. [13]
