Reflections on the Life of An Icon: Dr. Margaret Taylor Goss Burroughs

"I must find the truth of heritage for myself
And pass it on to them, and in years to come
I believe because I have armed them with the truth,
My children and their children's children
Will venerate me,
For it is the truth that will make us free!" [1]
We gather here, once again, to pay tribute to our Ancestor Dr. Margaret Taylor Goss Burroughs, who joined the Ancestors on November 21st, 2010. In addition to becoming an Icons well as a venerated and highly respected "Real model" during her earthly sojourn, she also served as our Guardian Queen Mother. Dr. Burroughs loved people and, as far as we could tell, most of the people whom she loved reciprocated by loving her as we, her "children," are doing now.
Those who were fortunate enough to be in a relationship with her were, in a very real sense, her "family". In fact, it could be claimed -if age difference warranted it- that she was their "Mother"; or "Sister," if they were her peers. Her interest in the success of her "family" as well as the progress of her community, was not only well-known but also well-documented. [See Recommended Readings below].
She was a world- traveler but, she definitely was not a "bourgeois" tourist since her community was international. She prepared for her visits by purchasing necessities to take with her as gifts to the people in her other "homes" in other parts of the world. She was known as much for promoting causes and uplifting people as for building organizations and institutions. This has been documented by the "eye-witness testimony" of her progeny in this "H3O Art of Life" series. Kindness and generosity were ingrained in her DNA.
We are endeavoring to introduce or/and to reacquaint you with our beloved Queen Mother during the month of November by presenting episodes of "The H3O Art of Life Show" which is also being shown - at all times- on our YouTube channel, H30 art of life, as well as every Friday @ 8:30 PM, during the month of November, on CAN-TV Channel 19. The H3O Art of Life Show is replayed every Sunday @ 3:30PM.
We also invite you to view "The H30 Art of Life Shows" that accompany each Blog.
